Dairy-Free Chocolate Chip “Ice Cream”

This guilt-free, dairy free dessert is so easy to make and a great healthy alternative from your normal ice cream! Made with ingredients like bananas, coconut milk, and almond milk, it’s a deliciously refreshing and light but still so creamy!!

SERVING SIZE: 1-2

1 large banana, frozen

1 cup canned coconut milk

1/4 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon vanlilla extract

1.5 teaspoon maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup chocolate chips

The recipe:

In the bowl of your Ninja Creami, combine the frozen banana slices, canned coconut milk, almond milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and cinnamon.

Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.

Freeze overnight or about 12 hours.

Remove from freezer and blend. After blending the ingredients until smooth in your Ninja Creami or blender, assess the consistency of the mixture.

If the ice cream mixture seems too “flakey”, add a splash of almond milk. Start with about 1-2 tablespoons of almond milk.

Respin the mixture in your Ninja Creami until you achieve the desired creamy texture.

Check the consistency again and add more almond milk if needed, a little at a time, until you reach the desired thickness and creaminess.

Finally, add in your chocolate chips and blend! Enjoy! xx
