The BEST Homemade Pesto Recipe

If you know me, you know my love for pesto runs veryyyy deep. Here is the best pesto recipe I’ve been making for 6+ years and it never gets old💚 it’s good to meal prep for the week, to enjoy of course with pasta- but also any dish like chicken, rice bowl, salads. The only other ingredient I sometimes add is avocado for healthy fats and to make it super creamy! You gotta try it!!

2.5 packed cups of fresh basil

1 cup arugula

1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup pine nuts

1/2 cup grated parmesan

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup parsley

1 clove garlic

1/3 cup water

Dash of salt

The recipe:

De-stem and wash fresh basil.

Place all your ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend till smooth (or desired texture).

Store in an airtight jar to have for any meal or snack for the rest of the week! xx
