You guys know how much I love parmesan cheese, I basically add it to every dish! So I was making my crispy chicken tender recipe the other night and decided to add some parm to kick things up a notch! End result? Unbelievable. You guys are going to love how perfectly crispy and moist these parmesan crusted crispy chicken tenders are and they are actually super easy to make! I’ve also shared a couple of my favorite side options below for you to check out if you’re in need of some side inspo! Hope you guys enjoy! xx
The recipe:
Preheat a frying pan over medium heat.
In one bowl, whisk together the 3 eggs.
In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, flour, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, onion salt, and pepper.
Cut chicken tenders in half lengthwise to create thinner pieces. Pat dry each piece.
Dip each piece into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with the dry breadcrumb mixture.
Place coated chicken tenders in the frying pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes more, or until chicken is cooked through (cut open one piece to check!). Enjoy!! xx
Side Suggestions:
Simple Arugula Salad: Toss arugula with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
Roasted Zucchini and Broccolini: Spread zucchini and broccolini on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Roast at 425°F for about 20 minutes.
