The perfect summer meal that feels like you’re having a BBQ without actually having to go outside and grill! These turkey sliders are packed with protein and are so delicious, perfect if you are having some friends over for dinner or if you just want to have a taste of summer any night of the week!
The recipe:
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, shredded cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into 6 small patties.
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the sliders for 3–3.5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
While the sliders cook, add the sliced onions to a separate pan with a drizzle of oil. Sauté over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, until tender and slightly browned.
When the sliders are almost done, toast the slider buns in the same pan for about 1 minute until golden brown.
Top the buns with the sliders, sautéed onions, tomato, avocado, arugula, and a dollop of the secret sauce. Enjoy!! xx
