Tummy Soothing Smoothie

This smoothie is full of amazing ingredients to help relieve your tummy discomfort and aid your digestion. Pineapples are a food source of bromelain, a combination of enzymes that digest protein – helping you break down meats and other protein. Ginger is believed to speed up the breakdown of food, while also protecting the gut and may also ease bloating, cramping, and gas. Parsley also works as a powerful natural diuretic and can help reduce bloating and blood pressure. There are so amazing benefits for your tummy and digestive system – plus it’s full of refreshing tropical flavors you will LOVE!

SERVING SIZE: 2

1/2 of a small lemon, squeezed

1 tablespoon fresh ginger

1 whole banana 

2/3 cup Greek yogurt

1 cup pineapple

1/3 cup parsley 

1/2 cup coconut water

1 1/2 cup ice

The recipe:

Prep your ingredients by cutting your pineapple and ginger into smaller pieces. Feel free to use frozen pineapple or banana to make your smoothie a little thicker!

Combine your lemon juice, chopped ginger, banana, pineapple chunks, Greek yogurt, parsley, coconut water, and ice in a blender.

Blend till frothy and smooth. Enjoy!! xx
