Strawberry Cucumber Margarita

Strawberry Cucumber Margarita

I love a good margarita, and fresh herbs and citrus elevate the cocktail to perfection! Plus – swapping out the orange liqueur for a squeeze of fresh orange juice adds a healthy twist and an amazing burst of flavor. It’s refreshing, light, and perfect for making in big batches. Cheers!

SERVING SIZE: 2 (feel free to multiply to make a bigger batch)

FOR CUCUMBER INFUSED TEQUILA:

1 cucumber, sliced

tequila

FOR COCKTAIL:

3-4 cup fresh strawberries

1/4 cup fresh mint

2 shots passion fruit juice

1 tsp simple syrup

1/2 shot lime juice

1/2 shot Orange Liqueur or fresh orange juice

3 shots cucumber-infused tequila, or tequila of choice

Ice

Optional: salt or Tajin to rim the glass

The recipe:

To infuse your tequila, slice up your cucumber and place the slices in a container with your tequila. Place your covered container in the fridge overnight for best results.

Prep your fresh ingredients by picking the mint leaves off the stem & cutting off the tops of the strawberries. Slice your straw berries to make it easier to muddle.

Muddle your strawberries in a separate small bowl or container to release all the juices and sweetness.

In a cocktail shaker, combine your muddled strawberries, mint leaves, passion fruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup, cucumber-infused tequila, ice, and & orange liqueur or orange juice.

Top with your strawberries or a lime slice as garnish & enjoy!! xx
