The recipe:
Dice and peel your carrots and onion and grate your zucchini to prep. Cook your pasta according to package directions in a separate pot. Don’t forget to salt your pasta water!
Add your onions and carrots to a skillet on medium heat with a little bit of olive oil and stir.
A couple minutes later add your ground turkey and mash it so it can evenly cook along with your veggies. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Once your turkey has thoroughly cooked and you don’t see any pink, add your minced garlic, peas, and zucchini.
Add your marina to the skillet and stir to combine with your veggies. Bring the stove to a simmer. Once combined, add in your cream.
After your pasta has finished cooking, drain and reserve a 1/3 cup pasta water. Add your pasta to the pan and stir to combine with your sauce. Add pasta water as needed.
Top with basil and parmesan and enjoy!!
