Introducing your new favorite snack: BROCCOLI TOTS🥦 easy to make, packed with nutrients, and kids will love them!!
The recipe:
Prep your broccoli by cutting off the stem and into pieces so it tenderizes faster.
Add your broccoli to a pot of boiling water. Approximately 5-7 minutes, you don’t want it too tender.
Remove your broccoli from the pot and cut and dice into small pieces.
Add your small pieces to a towel and squeeze out the excess water. (After I boiled it, diced it and got rid of some of the stem, and pressed out the water with a towel, it only ended up being only 2 1/3 cups broccoli.)
Once all the water has been pressed out, add your pressed broccoli, starch, cheese and garlic salt to the bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine!
After thoroughly mixed, shape into “tot form.”
Add to the air fryer for 8 min at 375 degrees or until golden brown on the outside.
I just used chipotle ranch for my dip because I wanted that kick of spice but also pairs soooo well with ranch!! Enjoy!
