This recipe is so work making – it’s the BEST weekend breakfast🍳🥯 and so worth making!! Bonus- they have protein from the yogurt! They are perfect to eat alone, or to create breakfast sandwiches!!
The recipe:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine your flour, greek yogurt, baking powder, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and optional. Mix till no lumps.
Knead the dough until it comes together. It’s best to do this on a flat, clean surface lightly dusted with flour to prevent sticking.
(if you “knead” help on how to knead;)) just google it!! I watched a youtube video and it’s simple!)
Once the dough is kneaded, form it into bagel rings and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly sprayed with baking spray to prevent sticking.
Brush the tops of the bagels with egg wash, then sprinkle with optional sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning.
Bake at 375°F for approximately 25 minutes or until the bagels are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and enjoy your freshly baked bagels! xx
