Lemon, Garlic, Parmesan & Butter Pasta with Shaved Brussels, Zucchini & Bacon

Here’s what you need:

1.5 cups diced zucchini

1.5 cups shaved brussels sprouts

1/2 tbsp olive oil

Seasonings: Garlic powder, pepper, onion salt

2 servings of angel hair pasta

4-6 pieces of bacon

2 tbsp butter

Juice from 1.5 lemons

1 tbsp olive oil

1 garlic clove or 1/2 tbsp garlic paste

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (or a little less so you can save some to top with)

Here’s how you make it:

Cook zucchini and brussels sprouts in 1/2 tbsp olive oil, garlic powder, pepper and onion salt for about 7-8 minutes or until your veggies are cooked to your liking!


In a pot, cook 2 servings of angel hair pasta, according to the package. Make sure to shave 1/3 cup pasta water for your sauce!!! This is very important!


Fry up some bacon to your perfect level of crispiness. I like my bacon EXTRA crispy.


In a frying pan, add butter, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Then add pasta and the pasta water and parmesan cheese.


Mix it all together. Then add bacon crumbles and the sautéed veggies. Top with some more pepper and parmesan cheese!
