Sesame Chicken with Rice, Green Beans & Sprouts

Sesame Chicken with Rice, Green Beans & Sprouts

Here’s what you need (makes 2-3 servings):

1 packet (~ 1 lb) of chicken tenders, diced

1 tbsp oil

1/2 tsp sesame oil

1.5 tbsp soy sauce

1-2 tbsp honey

1/2 tbsp rice vinegar

1-2 cloves garlic, diced

1/4 cup sesame seeds

1 cup green beans, chopped

1 cup sprouts

1-2 tbsp Trader Joe’s Toasted Sesame Sauce

1 cup rice, cooked according to package

Here’s how you make it:

Cook rice according to package.

Add oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, vinegar and garlic to a frying pan and mix until evenly combined. Add in your diced chicken and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. When your chicken is about halfway cooked, add in the sesame seeds so that they have some time to get nice and toasted.

In another small pan add a little drizzle of olive oil and then add in your diced green beans and sprouts and cook for about 5-6 minutes or until they have begun to soften. Add in some Toasted Sesame Sauce and cook for another 1-2 minutes!

Now it’s time to plate: take 1/2 cup of cooked rice and add it to your bowl, then add in your green beans and sprouts and then top with sesame chicken!
