Healthy Take 5

A homemade Take 5 bar with a healthy twist!

Here’s what you need:

6 Dates

3 tbsp almond butter (or any nut butter you like!)

Handful of crushed Pretzels (I used pretzel thins but you can use regular pretzels too!)

1 dark chocolate bar

Sprinkle of sea salt

 

Here’s how you make it:

Slice your dates in half and take out the pit

Add 1/2 tbsp of almond butter to one half of the date and top with crushed pretzels

Then take the other half of the date and put it on top (it’s ok if this gets a little messy, you actually want the nut butter to act as a seal to keep the date together!)

Bring 1 cup of water to boil in a pot on the stove. Add your dark chocolate to a glass bowl and place on top of the boiling pot of water to evenly melt your chocolate!

Then dip the stuffed dates in the melted chocolate and put in the freezer for about 30 minutes! Take these out and top with a sprinkle of sea salt and I’m telling you guys…you are going to be OBSESSED!!!
