Cinnamon Crunch Baked Apples

Cinnamon Crunch Baked Apples

CINNAMON CRUNCH BAKED APPLES

There is nothing better than a slice of warm apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, right??? It’s so delicious and so comforting and just screams FALL! If you’re like me, you basically want to eat the entire pie as soon as it comes out of the oven! I mean, I’ve done that before, but trust me, you will be hurting haha. So I tried out this new recipe, and you honestly could eat the entire thing if you really wanted to! CINNAMON CRUNCH BAKED APPLES!

I meannnn how beautiful is this bowl of baked apples? I really wish you could smell this right now!!!!

Here’s what you will need:

  • 3 apples, sliced
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup granola or chopped nuts

First, I sliced up my apples. You can leave the skin on if you want… I like the extra layer of crunch that it gives!

Then add your coconut oil, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, lemon juice, maple syrup and mix it all together! Then top with your favorite granola or chopped nuts if you would prefer that! Then, you know I LOVE cinnamon so I added a bit more on top for some extra spice and extra color!

Lastly, pop this into the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until you see bubbles on the side of your baking dish! Let the apples sit for about 5-10 minutes before devouring! I like to top mine with vanilla greek yogurt but if you’re feeling frozen yogurt or ice cream, go for it!!! This beautiful and  heavenly bowl that will make you feel so cozy!! Curl up on your couch with your favorite blanket and ENJOY!
