SERVING SIZE: 2
1/2 cup oats in each cup
1/3 cup chia seeds in each cup
TO BLEND:
1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups strawberries
1.5 tablespoon maple syrup
Optional: strawberries, to top
The recipe:
Begin by layering oats and chia seeds in a mason jar or any sealable container.
In a blender, combine vanilla Greek yogurt, water, strawberries, and maple syrup until the mixture is smooth.
Divide the smoothie equally among cups, then mix in the layered chia seeds and oats.
Refrigerate the jars overnight or for a minimum of 6 hours to allow the chia seeds to fully expand.
