Ingredients

  • 20-30 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon sea salt (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • In a cast iron skillet, add the peeled garlic cloves along with the olive oil, rosemary, and 1/2 tablespoon of sea salt.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the garlic is tender and lightly golden.
  • Take the roasted garlic out of the oven and mash it all up. I added in 2 spoonfuls of the roasted olive oil with the rosemary to the garlic mash too.
  • Then add in a whole stick of softened butter and garlic powder and mix it well until evenly combined. I added a little extra sea salt here as well.
  • Then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Take a slice of sourdough (or your favorite bread) and toast it up and top with the garlic rosemary butter and ENJOY!
