One Pan Cheesy Chicken Sausage Broccoli Bake

Really been on a meal prep kick this week! Here's a great dinner you can meal prep. I made this dish for my family yesterday and it was a HIT!! And the best part - it's one-pan!!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/3 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli, diced
  • 2/3 cup peas
  • 1.5 cups chicken sausage, diced
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 3.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 385 degrees.
  • Begin by dicing your onions and broccoli, and slicing your sausages and carrots.
  • Arrange the prepped ingredients in a baking dish, layering with rice on top. Pour in your water or broth, and add butter, bouillon, and seasonings.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then bake for 40 minutes at 385 degrees.
  • After 40 minutes, remove from the oven and sprinkle 1 cup of cheese into the mixture, stirring to incorporate, and sprinkle another cup of cheese on top.
  • Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 4-5 minutes.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and enjoy! xx
