100 Calorie Cucumber Mint Marg

This is my favorite skinny margarita! And if you’re reading this thinking about the calories in a drink…. yes, drinks usually have a lot of calories- so be careful with your alcohol intake when trying to lose weight! BUT! You KNOW I love to drink… so this is a go to!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 shot 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1/2 tsp agave
  • 3 tbsp sparkling water
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cucumber peeled and sliced
  • Small squeeze of orange juice
  • Handful of ice
  • Fresh mint leaves plus extra for garnish
  • Optional: a few jalapeño slices for a kick
  • Garnish: cucumber slice + mint

Instructions
 

  • (Optional but highly recommended): Let tequila sit with a few slices of cucumber for a few hours to naturally infuse the flavor.
  • When ready to make the drink, muddle cucumber slices and mint in a shaker. Add tequila, agave, lime juice, orange juice, and ice.
  • Shake well and pour into a glass. Top with sparkling water.
  • Garnish with extra mint and a cucumber slice. Enjoy your refreshing, low-calorie marg!
