How to Make the PERFECT Oatmeal

This is truly the most PERFECT oatmeal you’ll ever make! So creamy and comforting, it’ll make your whole house smell amazing. Trust me—this one’s a keeper!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla almond milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Fruit banana, berries, or any fruit you have at home
  • 1 tbsp almond butter

Instructions
 

  • In a medium pot, bring 1 cup of water and 1 1/2 cups of vanilla almond milk to a gentle boil. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Stir in 1 1/4 cups of old-fashioned oats. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover partially, and stir every couple of minutes to prevent sticking.
  • After 5–7 minutes (once the oats are creamy and soft), stir in 1 tbsp of maple syrup, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, and cinnamon to taste.
  • Continue to simmer and stir for another 2 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  • Top your warm oatmeal with more cinnamon, a drizzle of maple syrup, sliced fruit, and a spoonful of almond butter. Enjoy!! xx
