Servings 3 servings

Ingredients

  • 12-14 oz green beans
  • 1/2 small yellow or white onion diced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4-6 pieces bacon
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • First, prep your veggies, chop up the garlic and onions.
  • To prep the green beans, chop off the stem end.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy.
  • Once the bacon is crispy, and set aside on a plate lined with a paper towel.
  • Drain most, not all, of the bacon grease (carefully) from the pan. I like to either pour it into a tin can or lightly dab paper towel on the pan!!
  • Add in the diced onions, garlic, and green beans and sauté for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add in the cream, salt, and pepper and sauté for 2 more minutes until cooked.
  • Slowly stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes creamy. Crumble the cooked bacon and mix it back in, or sprinkle it on top for a crispy finish.
  • Serve warm and ENJOY!
