If you’re looking for the PERFECT bite sized holiday appetizer.. ITS THIS!! A family favorite + crowd pleaser: MINI puff pastry baked brie bites with honey topped with some rosemary and cranberries for that festive feel
*NOTE: Measurements are for a mini muffin pan!
SERVING SIZE: 12 Mini Bites
1 package Pillsberry cresent rolls, 8 oz.
6-8 mini Brie bites, quartered
Honey to taste
2 eggs, for egg wash
Optional: rosemary and dried cranberries to plate
The recipe:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
In a small bowl, beat two eggs to create an egg wash.
Ensure your muffin tins are non-stick by coating them with either butter or avocado oil.
Unroll the crescent rolls and cut the pre-cut triangles into small pieces to fit snugly into the mini muffin tins.
Quarter the mini brie to fit in the center of each pastry piece. Wrap the brie with the pastry and place it in the greased muffin tin.
Brush the top of each pastry with the beaten egg wash to promote a golden brown finish during baking.
Bake in the preheated oven at 400 degrees for approximately 12 minutes or until the pastries are beautifully golden.
Once baked, plate the mini brie-filled pastries. Optionally, garnish with sprigs of rosemary, dried cranberries, and a delicate drizzle of honey to finish! Enjoy!! xx
