Parmesan Crusted Crispy Chicken

Parmesan Crusted Crispy Chicken

You guys know how much I love parmesan cheese, I basically add it to every dish! So I was making my crispy chicken tender recipe the other night and decided to add some parm to kick things up a notch! End result? Unbelievable. You guys are going to love how perfectly crispy and moist these parmesan crusted crispy chicken tenders are and they are actually super easy to make! I’ve also shared a couple of my favorite side options below for you to check out if you’re in need of some side inspo! Hope you guys enjoy! xx

Here is what you will need:

1lb chicken breast tenders

3 eggs

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/3 cup flour

3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp Garlic salt

1/2 tsp Onion Salt

1/2 tsp Pepper

Here is what you need to do:

In one bowl, crack 3 eggs and whisk together with a fork. In another bowl, make your dry mixture. Add in your breadcrumbs, flour, parmesan cheese and seasoning. Then, I like to cut my chicken tenders in half (the long way) so that each piece of chicken is extremely thin. Pat dry the thinly sliced chicken tenders and then dip them (and cover them) in egg and then dip them in your dry mixture. Once you have covered all of your chicken tenders with breading, please them on a frying pan on medium heat and cook on each side for 3-4 minutes. Then turn heat down to low and simmer for about 10 more minutes or until done! I like to cut one open at the end just to make sure it is cooked all the way through!

I also made a few simple sides that you might enjoy to make alongside the chicken! I made an arugula salad with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese (all seasonings can be adjusted to your taste preferences).

I also made roasted zucchini and broccolini! I just spread out my veggies on a sheet pan, covered with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic salt and roasted them in the oven at 425 for about 20 minutes! Hope you enjoy!!
